New Hall in Fiji | Pacific

The site for the new hall in Nadi.

Revival Fellowship Project Report:

The assembly in Nadi currently meets in a hall that is made out of bamboo posts, with a corrugated iron roof that is held down with bricks.

The hall currently has no brick walls and no concrete slab.  Needless to say it’s not usually up to the tropical storms and cyclones that can be experienced in this part of the world.

Funds were raised by assemblies in Australia in 2011 to help the Revival Fellowship assembly in Nadi, Fiji replace their old hall and replace it with one that is more cyclone and water proof, with a concrete slab and brick walls.

The construction of the new hall is going through the local approval process at the moment, but when completed will become the meeting place for approx. 70 saints.  The site for the new hall is approx. 6000sqm and approx. 8km from the centre of Nadi.

It is hoped that the construction of a more ‘permanent’ meeting place for the assembly will help attract interest from the locals as well.
